The Symbolism Explained

The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is a symbol that can be found in many cultures around the world.  The Tree of Life represents God's love for us.

The Square

God is always square with his children. He provides the gospel to his children in every dispensation, that they may find their way to him.

Dispensations

There are seven (the number of perfection or wholeness), major gospel dispensations represented:

The Snake - the fall and the dispensation of Adam

The City in the Clouds - Zion and the dispensation of Enoch

The Ark and the Rainbow - the dispensation of Noah

The Waves of the Sea and the Stars of the Heaven - the dispensation of Abraham

The Ten Commandments - the dispensation of Moses

The Nativity - the dispensation of the meridian of times - Jesus and his disciples

The 11th hour Clock - the Dispensation of the fulness of times

The Circle

God's love is as a circle; compete and eternal. The fruit of the Tree of Life represents the love of God.  There are seven fruits represented:

The Earth - mortality

The Scriptures - that lead the way to him

 The Temple - Eternal Families

 The Dove - Revelation

 Three Keys - Priesthood Authority

The Constitution - without it we would not have freedom to worship

The Nativity - God loved us so he sent his son that we might be saved

Living Water

The Spirit of God guides us to him.

The Iron Rod

The Word of God - shows the way to his presence

The Word is both Christ and his Teachings

The Leaves

The leaf used for this Tree of Life is from the Sacred Grove. There are four leaves being blown to the four corners of the earth by the breath of God. "...the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations." (Revelations 22:2)   He heals the nations through the spreading of his gospel, we are the means he uses to heal the nations.

We are the leaves!
