This is a picture of a complete set of the Great Books of the Western World, published by Encyclopaedia Britannica Inc.  On the top of the bookshelf are two additional sets of books, the ten volume set Introduction to the Great Books and to a Liberal Education (on the left), and Gateway to the Great Books (ten volumes, grey, on the right), both also published by Britannica.
