I have to say how much I love using Dan Hunter's curricula from an LDS perspective. We are starting our third year, which will be our second rotation through World History, of course covering different stories this time. He basically begins each world history year at the very beginning with the plan of happiness. He doesn't call it that, but that's what it was as we studied the Fall of Adam and Eve, especially their decisions and the consequences. He relies heavily on Josephus and quotes of the modern day prophets. Right now we are looking at what areas the descendents of Ham, Japheth and Shem settled and which nations these people eventually became. I really enjoy the spirit that his curriculum brings, even where it touches delicate subjects. If you ever have the chance, I would suggest looking at his curriculum. ~~ H.S. in WA
