A Study of the Premortal, Mortal, and Post-Mortal
Ministries of Christ
The School of Abraham Genesis Project is free, and open to everyone,
everywhere. Originally we offered this as a Summer Project in 2001. We had
such a positive response that we have made the Genesis Project an ongoing
study that families may participate in at any time. Parents are responsible
for overseeing the progress of the project, and will validate all work
completed for the Return and Report certificate request.
Enjoy the project!
~~The Friendly Folks at School of Abraham~~

Parents: The School of Abraham Genesis Project presents a unique
opportunity for your child to successfully complete a meaningful,
significant assignment that has a strong spiritual foundation and an
important message. The complete project is suggested for children ages nine
and up. Younger children are strongly encouraged to participate, with
parental help. There is no charge for this program.
All Certificates of Achievement will be awarded based on "Return and
Report" notifications submitted through our web site.
Topics Covered
The topics covered are the Premortal, Mortal, and Post-Mortal Ministries of
Christ, based on Special Witnesses of Christ (Ensign, Apr. 2001, 4).
Special Witnesses of Christ is the text from
a video presentation by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve
Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The
presentation was broadcast by satellite between general conference sessions
on 1-2 April 2000. There are 18 separate presentations in this compilation.
The goal is that by writing and pondering these words, the child will
record not only in his journal but in his or her heart the conviction and
faith of the Apostles and Prophets, and will be able in the future to refer
to these words. Spelling, handwriting, grammar, history, geography,
scripture application, memorization, and discipline will also be included
through completion of the project, the Second Mile and Extra Bonus
activities. Parents, too, are encouraged to complete the project, along with
their children. The best teaching occurs by example.
