To think about...
"Many ignore consecration because it seems too abstract or too daunting. The conscientious among us, however, experience divine discontent because of progression mixed with procrastination. Hence, loving counsel is given with the confirmation of this direction, encouragement to continue the journey, and consolation as we experience individually the inherent degrees of difficulty.

"Spiritual submissiveness is not accomplished in an instant, but by the incremental improvements and by the successive use of stepping-stones. Stepping-stones are meant to be taken one at a time anyway. Eventually our wills can be “swallowed up in the will of the Father” as we are “willing to submit … even as a child doth submit to his father” (see Mosiah 15:7; Mosiah 3:19).
(Neal A. Maxwell, “Consecrate Thy Performance,” Ensign, May 2002, 36

Progress Report of the
National LDS Homeschool Association

We would like to extend a very sincere thank you to each of our subscribers for your tremendous response to the National LDS Homeschool Association. We are proud of the new National LDS Homeschool Association, and inspired by the many people whose lives have been enriched through homeschooling.

Following our initial mailing two months ago, there are to date approximately 1,000 homeschooling families united in support through the National LDS Homeschool Association, and the numbers continue to grow.  The National LDS Homeschoolers Association brings us together in a national forum and bolsters our individual efforts with the support of many like-minded families.
